Sneak peak into a new project

Got a special request from my daughter's nurse this week and I have started on it. Barely, but it is started. Of course I couldn't find a pattern for it anywhere on the web so this is a from scratch project that will take a little longer than normal because I'm writing the pattern as I go.  Here is a hint as to what I'm working on.  The first person to successfully guess what it is... will get a free copy of the pattern after it's completed. Yay! Who doesn't love free things?

 And, now I'm off to the dentist.  All four kids have appointments today. FUN! lol.   So I'm either bringing this with or a knitted scarf that I've been working on to help pass time.
